Hello, I'm Jaimie!
My path to bodywork
...was a seed planted at the beginning of my motherhood journey. Through early mothering, I was fortunate to find community through La Leche League and New Mothers Network meetings, two services available to me in the town where I gave birth to my children, and ones that my own mother highly encouraged for me to attend. My birth and my mother's experience were highly traumatic; something that I know shaped my own experience and the desire to find support. I soon became a La Leche League Leader, a hospital-based, certified nursing and lactation assistant, a certified lactation educator, and a doula. The time spent supporting mothers led me to eventually seek out my massage certification.
My passion is helping women find their own empowerment. I enjoy focusing on the unique needs of women, to include core awareness and pelvic health. My bodywork approach is both intuitive and integrative, focused on balancing the body and central nervous system, reducing and eliminating pain, promoting relaxation, and body awareness.
I believe that ALL BODIES ARE BEAUTIFUL and that the space created between the therapist and client is SACRED. It is fully my intention for you to feel respected, accepted, honored, and above all, safe.

Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique (SMRT) is a bodywork technique that uses passive contraction to gently dissolve tension or adhesion in muscles and access deep-lying tissues that are otherwise inaccessible or painful to access. It's a fantastic compliment to perinatal massage, because you are able to affect deep tissue structures in a safe manner.
